In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
